Herno Old Tom Gin, Sweden
Double Dutch Indian Tonic (Garnish with Sliced Grapefruit)
Using meadowsweet to impart extra sweetness, this is then heightened with the addition of touches of honey and sugar before bottling
Kongsgaard Gin, Denmark
Double Dutch Pomegranate & Basil Tonic (Garnish with Lime & fresh Basil)
Danish small-batch gin with apples at its core with other botanicals also inspired by the woods, creating a spirit with complex notes of earth, flower and fruit. This gin is made from a base of wheat spirit and distilled in an open-flame Cognac still.
Kyro Napue Gin, Finland
Double Dutch Cranberry & Ginger Tonic ( Garnish with fresh Berries)
A rye-based gin, Napue’s botanicals include meadowsweet, sea-buckthorn and cranberries. Crisp and refreshing with a spicy pepper note
Martin Miller Westbourne Strength, England/Iceland
Double Dutch Cucumber & Watermelon (Garnish with Cucumber & Mint)
Martin Miller’s gin is technically English – distilled in pot stills in England but unusually then shipped to Iceland, where it is mixed with Icelandic spring water. The name pays homage to Westbourne Grove in London, where the idea for Martin Miller’s gin first really began to take off. Full of smooth citrus and spice, the Beverage Tasting Institute awarded this 97 points and declared this the best gin in the world and ‘Spirit of the Year’ in 2003, the year it was released. This would certainly do well in a Martini
Bivrost Arctic Gin, Norway
Double Dutch Tonic (garnish with lemon slice and mint sprig)
In the old mythology, the Vikings named the northern lights Bivrost. It was seen as a magical -bridge from the homeworld of humans in the world called Midgard, to the realms of the Norse Gods of Asgard.
Bivrost® Gin is handcrafted under the glow of the Northern Lights, at the foot of the majestic Lyngen Alps. Melting water from glaciers is purified and combined with locally harvested botanicals to ensure a -unique product of Arctic Norway.
Bivrost® Gin is a silky gin with fine flavour and elegant balance. Delicate aromas and flavours of arctic berries, roots, spices and juniper combine with a clean, medium body and a medium-length citrus and spicy finish.
